It's all very quiet here at the moment. The weather is wrong for falls and there haven't been any particular outlandishly rare sightings. I was out at Portland Bill this morning and Ferrybridge late this afternoon. Today's tally at the former included a few Wheatear, four Rooks overhead and several Common Gulls moving westwards. Best of all there were three Common Sandpipers around the rocks... which proved impossible to photograph. So, I will settle for a selection showing some of the other species. Thanks for reading!
